Who Am I?

What is one supposed to write about their own self?

I’d like to say that I am Kyle Ford, “Super Tramp”… an introspective vagabond with great insight and a distaste for material things.  In reality, I am quite the opposite.  Am I a poser? A phony, a fake?  Is it even possible to live an enlightened life in a brainwashed materialistic world?

I’d like to think so.  You see, I used to work in finance.  It provided a pretty decent paycheck for the low, low price of my soul.  Too many of us make a similar exchange. My personality was fading and my creativity squashed.  Then, as if struck by the bolt of Zeus, I came to the realization that life is for living.  I figured that if I am not doing something that I am passionate about then I might as well be pushing up daisies.  So, I quit my job, moved to San Francisco and began mixing cocktails.

Now I get to play everyday and meet the most interesting people.  Life is great.

I’ve started this blog as proof of my journey (and damn good drinks!).
